Brown fused alumina is a tan artificial corundum made from bauxite by electric arc furnace, hence the name brown fused alumina. Due to its high hardness, good toughness, high melting point, good grinding performance and strong pressure resistance, brown fused alumina micropowder can be used in consolidation and coated abrasives, wet or dry blasting. Processing carbon steel, alloy steel, castable iron, can also be used as super-fine grinding and polishing and made into advanced refractory materials, especially for color picture tube glass.
